Barnyards/Births/Birthdays all seem to be apart of the months of May and June, and JULY. I followed up on these newborn twin goats, Rozie and Suzie who had been abandoned by Edith, their mother.
What does one do, when one is not close to their own loved ones, ones who are newborn, who need to be cuddled and loved and fed?
One just , does what I did. One goes and feeds another species, helps out in another way.
This Middle River Farm is managed by the Ward Family. What you witness, are pictures of Joan Ward feeding Rozie with a specifically sized “Vet” nipple attaches to a beer bottle. Nelson Ward informed me the importance of the circle dynamics in creating a space saving &functional barn , where the centre cylinder is utilized for the grain trucks to pump in the feed . The feed is ground corn/barley/oats
Hadan is their grandson who not only helps out at the farm, between stints of sitting in the shade, but also works in the kitchen at the Ridge at Manitou
