Mount Edith Cavell: when a mountain is the medium for a message.

I know that Mount Robson is the highest mountain in the Canadian Rockies and that  Thompson River is 500 miles long.

And who was Edith Cavell?  She was a nurse who  was serving in Belgium  during WWI and she was betrayed by a patient, & without a trial, shot for treason.  She was treating the injured, no matter what nationality.  The message was a social and potlitical statement, not a military one; a very effective voice indeed.  The outraged International Communtiy sought out this medium, a mountain, as a metaphor for courage and  honor.
